sugarstone was mostly fun while it lasted. about 23 years.

done now though, but there's still quite a bit of stuff to look back over.

we were a proper band. not the tightest, or cleverest, but we had some good tunes and, back in the day, thought we might actually get somewhere.

the last few years were challenging for various reasons. lives changed, we lost a man, we took to playing covers in pubs albeit in our own style. it's fair to say that people mostly enjoyed what we did, probably because we clearly did it with passion.

in 2016, the man we lost was tragically lost to everyone.

at the end of 2017 we decided to call it a day - why? well it wasn't 'musical differences' for sure.. just uncertainty.. and time.
