covid hit finally

last week my love - Maxi - had it - this week it's me

had to cancel a work trip which was pretty important... though not in the grand scheme of things really

i can work from home, but tired all the time - except now, in the middle of the night when i should be asleep

all sorts of stuff goes through ones head on a sleepless night i find. end up thinking about all manner of nonsense, though occasionally something important... like did i get the email about working at Glastonbury? and yes i did.

immediately i'm thinking of the somerset fields, cold beers on hot days, then i may as well be up. doing this & watching the korean show on netflix which everyone seems to be watching.

'kam-sam nee dah' this guy is saying over & over. I know that phrase - means thank you. went to korea once.

hoping i didn't give covid to Tomsk when we went for fish curry the other night, i enjoyed that a lot - we both did i think.

Meg was off doing a big corporate gig. we were eating curry. i know well which of those options i prefer

thinking about doing an acoustic gig in a bar. uploading videos of me playing to this site. there are not that many, and those i have are old.

i'm hungry all the time. just ate a pepperami to see if i could taste it.. not so much. hopefully the fact that i've been exercising quite a bit will make me able to fight the virus off a bit more effectively, i'd like to think so.

when they say 'ice cream' in korean, it's just 'ice cream'. i imagine that's cos they didn't have a word for it before the Americans turned up. they didn't really do dairy... or bread... or obesity, tooth decay all that shit. i may have made that up but i don't think so.

the reason i don't do that, is the reason i don't do most stuff. fear of rejection. people might not like, people may be utterly indifferent. then what.

i'll post them on here. that way people will only see them when they want to.

i replied to the glastonbury email, despite the fact that it was to a mailing list, i responded gratefully as if it were a personal thing. even now, the idea of that place gets me all unnecessary.

hey with any luck i can sleep now, i've hopefully offloaded all the stuff that was swimming around in my head.

very violent this korean thing. and they're eating noodles a lot. and i'm hungry all over again. got to love those spicy korean noodles like.
